Rutgers: The State University of New Jersey

Rutgers-New Brunswick is an international research powerhouse located in the heart of New Jersey. It is the largest of Rutgers' three campuses and is within easy reach of New York City, Philadelphia, and the Jersey shore. New Brunswick offers environments ranging from stately historic buildings and peaceful open greens to a vibrant downtown business district alive with award-winning theaters, bustling coffee shops, and alternative-music venues.

Rutgers-New Brunswick enrolls more than 28,000 undergraduates and approximately 7,300 graduate students. More than 60% of undergraduates live on the Rutgers-New Brunswick campuses. Students have the choice of five distinct residential communities including the Douglass Residential College. Our students share university resources ranging from academic, housing, cocurricular activities, and entertainment ranging from concerts to athletic events to film festivals.
