Honors students have access to many special opportunities, including:

• Small classes taught by some of the university's most distinguished faculty
• Funding and support for original research
• An enriched extracurricular program of cultural events, lectures, trips, and social activities
• Special services and facilities, including academic advising, study lounges, and honors housing

Eligibility standards are determined by the individual colleges based on high school rank, grades, SAT I scores, and personal criteria. The links to the right will explain the individual college honors programs.
