Rutgers Reflects the World If you want to come to a place where everyone is like you, don't come to Rutgers. I have met so many people from different backgrounds through residence halls, classes, and friends. Rutgers not only brings the world to you, but gives you the opportunity to study in another country too! My junior year, I spent a semester in Valencia, Spain. I still keep in touch with friends I made across the world!
Rutgers Traditions Hot Dog Day, Football games
Clubs and Extracurricular Activities Campus Crusade for Christ, Scarlet Ambassadors, Studying!
Why Rutgers I chose Rutgers because it's a big school and I wanted to be able to meet new people and have choices. It was the only in-state school I even considered-- far enough away from home where it's my own college experience, but close enough to travel back easily! Having an older sister who graduated from Rutgers also influenced my decision to come. But ultimately, it came down to what RU offers. Here, you have a million (ok, maybe an exaggeration) choices for everything from where to live and what to major in, to whether or not you want breakfast for dinner at the dining hall! What's not to love?!
