Rutgers Reflects the World I came from a very diverse town, so the Rutgers environment was not a suprising change for me. Since there are so many Rutgers students, I have met some students from all over the country and even international students. My first roommate and I had completely different cultural backgrounds and had fun sharing experiences about our different families and upbringings.
Rutgers Experiences I graduate in 2006 and I could not have dreamed of a better college experience. I am a transfer student from The College of New Jersey and was lucky enough to have a very smooth transition (even all of my credits transferred!). During my second semester I began working as a Scarlet Ambassador. It is so nice to work with people who love Rutgers as much as I do.
Internships I currently have an internship at the State Theatre in PR/ marketing. This experience is giving me the opportunity to combine my passion for theater with creativity to promote shows and concerts.
Rutgers Traditions Football, basketball, RutgersFest

Volunteer Experiences Through the Big Buddy program, I volunteered at Lincoln Elementary School in New Brunswick for three hours a week helping in a kindergarten classroom.
Clubs and Extracurricular Activities Livingston Theatre Company (performer and choreographer), Rutgers Performing Dance Company, Big Buddy, Scarlet
Ambassador
Why Rutgers I chose Rutgers because it has equally impressive academic and performing arts programs. It is also great to be a short train ride from NYC. With all of the different campuses, there is so much to offer!
