| Rutgers Reflects the World |
My parents are Indian. Perhaps the best feature of Rutgers is its diversity, in the students, faculty, environments, and activities. I love it! It provides for a much more enhancing education. I've learned so much about other people's cultures and about my personal prejudices through coming to Rutgers. It's important to stay open-minded because everything is so enlightening! |
| Rutgers Experiences |
College is the best thing that has ever happened
to me. I think it's the people and the connections
I've made in the past two years. I like to believe
that college is about becoming yourself, and I am
becoming. Through my experiences here,
the people I've encountered, and the classes I have
taken, and the activities that I've immersed myself
in, I have learned so much. My happiness is contingent
on finding something to be passionate about outside
of myself, something that engages me and allows me
to invest myself. For me, that passion is Rutgers.
The Cook
College Residence Life Program is the most fulfilling
experience I've had here at Rutgers because it has
provided me with the opportunity to challenge myself
and allow others to be as passionate about Rutgers
as I am. |
| Volunteer Experiences |
I helped plan and put together the Relay
for Life at Cook College and participated as a
volunteer during the event. Prior to college, I volunteered
at a nursing home. |

| Why Rutgers? |
My dad did his graduate work here and my sister went to Cook. Cook offered
my major which not many other schools on the east coast did. I never anticipated being so happy here. |
