Important Information About Applying to Rutgers

The spring and fall 2008 online application is now available.

  • We prefer that all students apply online. If students do not have online access, they will be able to request a paper application by phone, mail, or fax.
  • Please note that we are actively processing 2008 applications, so please send cumulative transcripts for applicants from your high school as soon as possible.
  • The essay:
    • Must be composed and submitted as part of the online application in the essay box provided.
    • First-year honors and scholarship candidates are required to submit an essay, and it must be submitted with the online application by the priority date of December 1.
    • For all other applicants, while the essay is not required, all students may benefit from submitting the essay.
    • Essays submitted on paper separately from the application will not be considered.
