As you all know, Rutgers (along with the rest of the east coast) has been pummeled by round after round of snow and rain and ice. In some way, the University has been brought together through mutual suffering. For the time being, all buses and dining halls alike are filled with the mummer of the ice, and rumors of the next big storm. eels good to be back. Break was long but necessary. Sadly 2 days into the semester, classes and unfortunately the work load is in full session. I just finished reading the 3 chapters assigned for Biology Lecture, and I couldn’t think of a better way to relax than to blog. This is the 1st chance I’m getting to actually sit down and take a breather. Unlike all of the other Rutgers Students, I did not get the "day-off" on Monday for MLK day. I was with my work-study job on a retreat (that’s right...retreat). [More]

As the Winter Break draws to a close (thank god), I found myself thinking of the semester ahead of me. It’s a fresh start. A blank slate for me to start anew with new professors, new classmates and (unfortunately) new Books =[. The 1st semester flew by in a blur. In a blink I was studying for finals. All in all I believe I did well. Although I didn't make Deans List (congrats again David P!!!), I am proud of my grades. At the same time, I know where I can improve and excel. The 1st semester was an eye-opener for sure. [More]

dont know about the rest of Rutgers, but to me it feels like i was taking finals from October to December. So as expected, I was looking forward to finally being home and being able to relax. Yeah... that lasted about a day. [More]
