Kappa Phi Lambda & Pi Delta Psi presents: PRIDE 2 Dance Competition

PRIDE Dance Competition is an annual event hosted at Rutgers University. Dance crews from all over the East Coast, from New Jersey to New York to Pennsylvania to DC, came to perform at the Nicholas Music Hall on Douglass Campus. How very nice of them! After missing Red Bull BC One 2009 last Wednesday (Bio Lab, I hate you!), I was really excited to go to PRIDE!

But of course, ODASIS felt the need to schedule a review for the Bio Final that night. Ugh! So instead of cheering on amazing dancers at 5:30, I was in Murray Hall, learning about Biology. At 8PM, I jetted out of there and caught the first EE bus to the New Gibbons stop and walked across the street to the NMH, meeting some of the guys from Point Blank (who I actually saw at World Of Dance Tour 2009 NYC in June!). After paying the fee for a ticket, I walked in on the middle of RDT's performance. Since I've seen their set a million times, I wasn't too upset. But I did feel bummed to have missed the first twelve crews to perform! Ew.

At the end of the night, Project D took the first place trophy again - with E.P.I.C. Motion in 2nd (they also won second place last year under the name IFA Dance Team) and RDT coming in at 3rd [taking the title from last year's third place winners, SERCisCompany (SiC)]. I would put videos, but at least 6 minutes per crew is way too much for this website when it's coming from a Flip Video Camera (Ultra HD FTW!). Check my Facebook if you want to see them!
