Band-Width, Add/Drop, and Lotto, oh my!

by John 22. January 2010 04:56

Like many Rutgers students, I was elated to learn that the repressive bandwidth limit (a rule regulating how much information RU students could download or upload to or from the internet) was no longer in action. This means that my peers and I may now be free to browse the web to our heart's content, a belated holiday present from the university.

On a slightly less positve note, I just wanted to remind my fellow Rutgers students of two important dates to remember. January 25 marks the end of the add/drop period. This means we have until 01/ to get our collective stuff together (i.e. figure out which classes we are supposed to be taking). I personally am sick to death of Web Reg after this week.

A second important date is today, 01/22. This is the first day of the Housing Lottery, the program rising students must go through in order to get housing for next semester. Hurry and sign up, last day for Housing Lotto is 02/1.

I hope everyone had a better break than mine (I don't want to talk about it).

Stay warm, and good luck.

John

Too bad the new internet speed cap makes me want to throw my computer out the window, haha.

Oh well Smile
