The Two Weeks in which a Boy Disappeared

by Will T. 29. January 2010 15:39

Remember that last post I did…the one about being kind of bored because Winter Break was a “bit too long”?  Well now I just want to run back to the past and warn myself that I should enjoy break for as long as possible.  Because this semester...is death.  Let me just lay out my Spring semester schedule:

Mondays/ 8:15-9:45 ballet, 10:15-12:15 modern technique, 6:10-7:30 media studies, 10:00-11:00 rehearsal for trio #1

Tuesdays/ 8:15-9:45 ballet, 10:15-12:15 modern technique, 12:35-1:55 Research in the Disciplines, 2:15-3:35 Dance Assembly, 3:55-6:55 Performance Skills

Wednesdays/ 8:15-9:45 ballet, 10:15-12:15 modern technique, 12:35-1:55 Plants and People, 6:10-7:30 media studies, 8:15-10:15 rehearsal for choreo piece #1, 10:15-11:15 rehearsal for choreo piece #2

Thursdays/ 8:15-9:45 ballet, 10:15-12:15 modern technique, 12:35-1:55 Research in the Disciplines, 3:55-6:55 Performance Skills

Fridays/ 8:15-9:45 ballet, 10:15-12:15 modern technique, 2:15-3:35 Plants and People

Saturdays/ RELAX

Sundays/ 2:00-4:00 rehearsal for choreo piece #2, 4:00-5:00 rehearsal for trio #2, 8:30-10:00 rehearsal for choreo piece #3

…and then my week starts over again.  Basically, the past two weeks have been me running around in a frenzy trying to fit in my everyday routines into my packed schedule.  Of course, it doesn’t help when my Research class meets on Tuesdays and then assigns 5 page essays for Thursdays.  I mean, seriously.  So if you ever visit the Cook/Douglass campus, look for me because I’ll be easy to spot.  I’ll be the kid who is dragging his feet, has dark circles under his eyes, looks like he dressed in the dark, body aching terribly, and is malnourished and heading to his next class or rehearsal.  Say hi, and I promise I won’t have the energy to even question whether or not I know you.

I'm in! As long as it's not in the middle of nowhere like last time. I thought me and Phyllis were going to be murdered.

I can do Monday after 3:50-5:15 or Wednesday 3:50-5:15.

Tuesdays until 1:30 or Thursdays after 3:50 are also good for me.

And Fridays are all clear until 2:50.

Wow, we're busy people...

Wednesday at 4 is chill. As long as I'm on Busch at 6PM.
