Hey readers and bloggers...if you go on my.rutgers.edu today, you'll see one of the most glorious things us New Brunswick students have seen in awhile -
Campus Alert (as of Tuesday February 9 at 10:50 PM)
Daytime and evening classes on the New Brunswick and Piscataway Campuses will be canceled for Wednesday February 10, 2010.
All University offices and departments will remain open.
Pursuant to policy 60.3.16, the University has declared a Weather Alert effective 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 until further notice.
v And, very shortly after that... v

I got the news last night via text message. It put me in a good mood going to see the Urban Bush Women show. For Dance Appreciation, we have to see a series of performances (for the price of, once again, no exams whatsoever). It was funny because the announcement came BEFORE it started snowing, but hey, who cares? Already said it. The show itself was alright, I guess. The UBW did three sets - the first being very funky (and sorry, but kinda boring), the second one was a type of contemporary piece (which I thought was dope), and the third one put me to sleep (it was an old school southern piece). After walking (in the snow) from the Livingston Theatre to College Hall on Douglass, my friend Derek and I caught a REXB to Verse|One practice.
Practice was fun, as usual. But at 12AM, when the dancing is done and the desks in a SERC classroom are back in order, what is a dance crew to do? SNOWBALL FIGHT!

^ Carnage, seriously. By the way Derek, if you're reading this, I'm the one that nailed you in the face. Lol.
I mean, come on. Like anyone was seriously expecting anyone else to STUDY or something...

^ V|1 members keeping up with their studies. By the way, it was 3:35 in the MORNING.
But yeah, after shaking the snow out of our clothes (which was futile, since the snow was coming pretty hard at the time), we caught an H or drove to wreak havoc...um, I mean, EAT on Easton Avenue. Since Noodle Gourmet was closed, we decided to hit Giovanelli's for pizza. But not without vandalizing a car on the way:

^ So badass. Fear us.
After making Mark pay for everything (<3), we sat down and feasted....

^ OH. MY. GAWD. BUFFALO WINGS / RANCH DRESSING. <333

^ SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS!...of orange soda.
Anyway, after hanging out until 2AM (while enjoying excercise and "Girls Gone Wild" infomercials), we went our separate ways. My buddy Sam drove me back to Livi (after we pretty much got lost driving other friends back to Cook). So yeah, what did I walk into when I got home? Quad 1 vs. Quad 2 snowball fight. NICE. After putting my stuff down inside and grabbing an umbrella, I went out and joined the fray...which ended in a...truce? WEAK.
What else happened this morning?
-Watched a show about a guy sleeping with snakes, many of them venomous!
-Let my friend sleep over because he got locked out of his room!
-Wandered aimlessly!
BEDTIME: 4AM.
Woke up: 12:40PM <333
I love Rutgers.

^ Come see us perform at Pan Asian Lunar New Year, tomorrow night (2/11)! The event starts at 7 and it's ALL FREE. AS IN FREE FOOD. COME AND GET IT.
