Sprint to the Finish

by System Administrator 18. April 2010 19:41

Hey everyone,

This is going to be a short post because as the semester comes to a close, things get really busy around here. I have 8 more pages of Creative Writing to do tonight, and I want to finish a Biology chapter. Although this week will be very busy, I am pretty excited for two research events I will present at: The Celebration of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity, and the Social Sciences Undergraduate Research Poster Session, which the chair of the department of Psychology invited me to.

I should also mention that living on campus rocks now that the weather is warm. I love not having to drive anywhere, and walking around in the gorgeous weather. I also visited the Campus Health Center last week and was really pleased with the staff there. They could be my favorite department on campus. I was sick, and visited twice, and will visit this week to check up on things. They have yet to require any money or insurance from me either.

In regards to going to the Museum of Comics and Cartoons Festival last weekend (as mentioned in my last post), I had a great time and hopefully my convention report will hit the internet shortly. Going to a convention as "press" was a really great experience, and I'm saving my press card I got to wear around. I am impressed with how easy it is to hop on the Riverline right outside of Residence Life, go to Trenton, and take a train from Trenton to New York Penn Station. I am also impressed with  Ginger Tea as a remedy against terrible acid reflux.

I need to go back to jousting with this semester now. To everyone who went to Accepted Students Day this weekend, I hope you enjoyed it. To everyone who's finishing up their semester, best of luck!
