Hi Everyone =]
I'm very excited to document my first year at Rutgers (although this is not my first year at college) with all of you
I am an incomming sophomore and transferred here because I missed going to family birthday parties and my little brother's school events. I don't know when I became so sentimental but hey, such is life.
My time at Rutgers thus far has been wonderfully boring. But please do not think that I am complaining. I am a part of Douglass Residential College (or the DRC) and because of that I have been here since the 27th. It truly has been a wonderful experience filled with convocations, throwdowns (we won!) involvement fairs and carnivals but has also been wonderfully boring because when these activities aren't taking place there isn't much to do. I've had lots of leisure time and am trying to relax and enjoy it because I know that in only two short days, the chaos that is school will start. I already have a packed schedule with 18 credits (gulp) but today at the involvement fair signed up for many many clubs just because I can. Really I am a masochist. Ok well not really, but I do love to be busy and seem to enjoy signing up for as many things as possible just to see how far I can stretch my limits. I am really interested in joining a choir (Kirkpatrick? Vorhees?), becoming a memner of Psychalliance, and maybe, just maybe, rushing ΑφΩ .Now before I lose any readers who are anti greek, "try it before you deny it!"(smart right? No, just corny...moving on...) ΑφΩ is not a trypical greek house, its not even an sorrority, its a co-ed service fraternity and one of the guys at the booth liked my name so that basically means that the fraternity and I were meant to be together - just saying.
Tonight is Target night and all of the students are bussed to a Target and are thrown a party while shopping for everything we left at home. I really don't need anything but I truly do believe that college turns ordinary students into kleptomaniacs and therefore, I must go. I am guarenteed free things and as a college student, who am I to turn away free things?
I think thats about all for now. I am most certainly not above begging so please, please, please leave me lots of comments. I will be more then happy to answer anything that anyone may have a question about. Unless of course your question pertains to physics, in which case I can't help you.
Stay beautiful people,
CarolAnn
