An Interlude

by Paige W. 20. September 2010 13:34

Confession: I'm writing this in Psych 101. BUT! it's not what you think! I'm a good student! I can just type notes and write blog posts at the same time! (Plus, it's a lecture class, so I really should get points for simply showing up.) I'm really enjoying all my classes, but I'm finding that I'm having a really hard time getting motivated to do my work. I honestly think I have too much free time, since my earliest class is at 11:30 AM. SO. I'm going to try to set up a schedule for myself, and I shall see how it goes. I've never been really good at self-discipline (obviously; I'm blogging in class). It's definitely been one of the biggest struggles for me so far. I need to get motivated to actually get off my butt and do my homework! Or go to clubs! Or go out on Saturday! With no parents to bug me, I'm definitely lazing around in my awesomely comfy pajamas way too much. So, here's to self-discipline! I'll let you know how it goes. Now, back to class.

Lol, don't sweat it Paige, I've posted to this site many times while I was in class.

oh, dangerous, Paige. . . but it's good to hear from you.  Yes, scheduling is the only way to manage the sea change of a college student workload.  It only seems like you have all this free time!
