The writer's block has faded and I am back with a vengeance! (Hopefully)
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays of the year. Perhaps it is the actress within me dying to be let free, or my passion for all things chocolate - no matter what it is, I love Halloween and I love Halloween in college.
Halloween comes at the perfect time of the semester. Midterms are over, finals are only a passing thought and the temperature outside is just cold enough to keep you awake as you skip from door to door. I love it and I don't think I am alone. I really enjoy seeing everyone dressed up with their creative juices flowing.
Some of my favorite halloween sightings this year included:
A Gorilla (who walked around in his gorilla suit all week long)
A Boxer or a "knock-out"
A Starry Knight
An Ostrich Wrangler
I really like couple costumes too, the best I've ever seen was Iron and Wine, "Iron" dressed up as the periodic element Fe and Wine wore a maroon leotard with edible grape vines wrapped around her.
I also thought this was really neat: all week long people have put out bowls of candy along the hall - its a nice little pick me up on my way to class =]
Here's a picture of a few girls on my floor and I in our Halloween Costumes. I hate to say that I was probably one of the least creative there - but we all had fun!
From Left to Right: Sarah Palin, A Starry Knight (complete with light up sword), Alice in Wonderland, Autumn (me), A Groovy Greek.
I hope you all get plenty of candy!
