I'm in Tennessee! This is where the hubs is from, and we're visiting his family for the holidays. Of course, that means that we're sitting in a Krystal's sucking off their Wi-Fi, but hey, sometimes it's ok to disconnect (besides, I have internet on my phone...it gets me by...and yes, I realize how pathetic that is.)
Semester #1 at RU is in the books, I've inexplicably turned out to be a B student, and I'm just enjoying taking a break from classes in general...though I am working on studying for a proficiency exam. I'm going to try my darndest to get out of Math 112.
I would be lying if I didn't say I was disappointed in my grades. I know I can do better than that, and frankly, I have to if I have any hopes of getting into pharmacy school. I was just frustrated when I saw my grades, because I thought I was going to do better.
They say not to chase grades, and in a lot of cases I agree whole-heartedly. However, when your goals for the future depend on that GPA, it's really hard not to chase that A.
I hope everyone is enjoying their break...I'm enjoying not being in New Jersey (sorry.)
