Throwback

Hey Guys!

A few months ago I made a post about my Choir's trip to the Performing Arts Center to sing at a $10,000 a plate fundraiser for Rutgers, Mason Gross. Well I just found a video of the choirs and orchestra performing our Alma Mater "On The Banks of the Old Raritan" I have been listening to in on repeat for hours. It brings back so many fond memories and really instills the sense of pride that Rutgers students and alum have in their school. Here's the link

The past few weeks for me have been an absolute roller-coaster. That Orgo exam I told you about, I think I did pretty well on but guess what? It was "misplaced" which I hope does not read "lost" I'm crossing my fingers that it is found but in a school if 40,000 people and a class of 500 people things are bound to get "misplaced" here and there and sometimes you're the lucky one. My physics exam I do not think went so well, but I am waiting to get those results as well. I am considering taking a W, an expression used quite often used with a mixture of dread and joy in my science dorm. To take a W means to withdraw from the course so that on your transcript there is a W next to the class instead of a letter grade. It is not a good idea to take to many W's , especially if you plan on applying to grad, medical, vet school etc but one or two isn't supposed to hurt you as long as you have a good reason for it. I'll take physics for the sciences next year so that should counteract my W as long as I get a B or higher.

On a more positive note (other than exams) I am officially pledging Alpha Zeta! Part of the pledge process is memorizing Alpha Zeta facts. I have been known to wake up screaming the year it was established or the name of the founders (sorry roomie!). I am absolutely loving my time but my time is being absolutely consumed by Alpha Zeta. When I look at my calendar I see an Alpha Zeta event every weekend plus weekly pledge meetings. On top of that I am in the process of writing my debate research paper for my final initiation process. That is not to say that if you rush a fraternity/sorority you won't have time for other activities, I am maintaining an active membership in SEA and Vet Club, its just a little bit of added stress. What are some extra grey hairs here and there right?

That’s about it for now. Spring semester always flies by! I can’t believe that I am  only 16 days, 3 Exams, 1 Quiz, a number of Alpha Zeta Events, and a Debate paper away from Spring Break!

Edit:

Orgo test was found and I got an....A!!! Yay sooo happpy =]
