I'm still taking a break from homework.
So....let me tell you about an event at our dorm two weeks ago!
It's called Lengthy Locks, run by the Residence Hall Association (RHA) of Woodbury-Bunting-Cobb. They brought in professional stylists, some actors, music, food, and fun.
What happened? Well, I got a haircut and donated nine inches to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths (which does not charge patients for wigs)... and you know what? I think I'll do this every year! If my hair grows quickly enough...

Before

After

Wait...with glasses on this time.
Okay, time to rewind...

Getting my hair cut in the kitchen, of all places.

...it looks like a tail, which is kinda scary. Not really, though. It takes six ponytails to make one wig. Here's one-sixth of a wig.
The whole experience took less than half an hour...I know right? It takes months to grow out all that hair, and then within a few minutes, done. I did a lot of mental preparation beforehand, so when I actually got my hair cut, it wasn't bad at all! :)
Overall, it was a great experience for a great cause. I'm definitely doing it again next year!
