Glee Club's Italian Tour 2011!

by davidp 6. July 2011 19:22

As many of you know, from 18 May to 2 June, the Rutgers University Glee Club (no, still NOTHING like the show!) embarked on an eleven-concert trek through some of the major cities of Italy. We started in Milan and slowly but surely made our way down to Rome, with stops in Florence, Venice, Rimini, Peccioli, Ravenna, Pompeii, Arezzo, Lucca, Salerno and of course Vatican City.

Highlights included amazing food, beautiful women, delicious wine, many many guided tours of places like Dante's Tomb, the Roman Forum, Scovegni Chapel, the Sistine Chapel, and the homes of Puccini and Petrarch, and also (how could I forget) performances during evening masses at St. Peter's (the Vatican), St. Augustine's (Rome), St. Mark's (Venice), and more of the world's most famous churches.

Pictures and videos to come! I'll be updating this post with media as i upload it to the yootoobz
