Only a semester has rolled by so far and I feel I'm on the right track. However, I feel the Discovery Houses really have given me the opportunities to lead me to where I am now. I was able to get more personalized teaching in what would have been giant lecture sized classes but were only classes of 40 students (such as Microeconomics). So for any new Freshman out there thinking about joining the RU community, definitely consider a Discovery House or Living/Learning community. We're cool nerdz. I swear. You can still have a life, but just know that when you are in the classroom, you'll be offered opportunities that aren't always open to everyone else!
