Tips

Put on comfy clothes (your go-to jeans and favorite sneakers should do the trick) for a Rutgers tour. You’ll do some walking so make sure you wear weather-wise clothing. And don’t leave home without that long list of questions you’ve been compiling.

Campus Visit
Come see for yourself.

Seeing is believing; that’s why a campus visit is a must. Pretty pictures and our impressive rankings won’t tell you how it feels to be at Rutgers. Walking the Rutgers campus and visiting the places where you’ll eat, sleep, study, and play sure will. Once you’re here, you’ll get a feel for Rutgers: the extensive grounds and livable scale, the bustling quads and quiet corners. Do you feel at home at Rutgers?

To answer that question, sign up for a campus visit to any (or all!) of our three regional campuses: Camden, Newark, and New Brunswick. Many of our tours are led by Student Ambassadors, current Rutgers students who can give you the inside scoop on campus life.

Depending on the tour you choose, you might attend an undergraduate admissions information session, visit with faculty in your field of study, or take a walking tour of a specific campus for an up-close look at residence halls, classroom buildings, student centers and more. So come visit Rutgers—and see for yourself.
