Safety on Campus
Rutgers is an exciting urban campus with a low crime rate, but even though we work hard to provide a safe environment for our students we believe it is important that parents work with us to make sure their child is alert and aware.

Rutgers wants you to know that we take your child's health as serously as you do, starting with the immunizations your child must receive prior to enrolling at Rutgers, all the way through graduation. In addition to on-campus health initiatives, which include counseling centers, health centers, and fitness facilities, New Brunswick is home to two outstanding teaching hospitals.
