Discover Rutgers–Camden

Just across the Delaware River from Philadelphia is Rutgers–Camden, a small, friendly community of 6,600 undergraduate and graduate students studying with a superb faculty. On our 40-acre campus, pathways and gardens connect close-clustered collegiate buildings—classrooms, library, student center, residence halls, and more—for the look and feel of a small liberal arts college. You can expect to find all the personal attention of a small college, too.

At Rutgers–Camden, every campus destination is just a quick stroll away. So are the cultural attractions of the Camden Waterfront (which draws 3 million visitors annually) and the collegiate amenities of the University District (which serves 7,500 students at four higher education institutions). Our location in the downtown business district is safe and easily accessible via car, train, light rail, and even ferry. Or you can live right on campus in The Towers or The Apartments.
