Explore First-year Seminars

Do cities contribute to climate change? (No, says Professor Robin Lesko.) What do major sporting events tell us about society? (A great deal, says Dean Mark Schuster.) Rutgers first-year students explore these topics and so many more with distinguished faculty in discussion-based classes of 20 or fewer students. Get to know your professor in a relaxed learning environment and maybe even contribute to the development of new scholarly ideas!

You can post pictures, videos and blogs, as well as messages on other student's pages to just say "hi." You can also chat in a group or with just one person.  New Facebook and Twitter integration features will make it easy to share status updates with all your friends.
