RECEIVING YOUR I-20 FROM RUTGERS |
Now that you have been admitted to Rutgers, the next step is to accept our offer of admission at Your Rutgers Status and, if you have not already done so, provide the required financial documentation (International Student Financial Statement and original bank letter). Once your financial documentation has been deemed acceptable by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, you will be issued an I-20. If your financial documentation was dated prior to January 2011, you will be asked to submit updated paperwork. For additional information about financial documentation visit our website.
Once you receive the I-20 you will need to pay the SEVIS I-901 fee and apply for your student visa. Each regional admissions office has its own procedure for mailing I-20 packages. Your instructions will come from the international officer at the region of the university you have selected to attend. |
