SCHOLARSHIPS

Candidates who applied for admission by December 1 and submitted all required credentials by December 15 will be automatically considered for academic scholarships if they also provided their response to the essay question on our application for admission. Admitted students from New Jersey and out of state will be notified about scholarship eligibility between January and April by email from University Undergraduate Admissions only if they qualify for an award. Scholarship awards are based on class rank or cumulative average and SAT or ACT scores.

We encourage students seeking academic scholarships to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by February 15 because eligible applicants may qualify for additional scholarship awards based on financial need.

GO 2 RUTGERS SOCIAL NETWORK

Go 2 Rutgers is our invitation-only social network for students admitted to Rutgers-New Brunswick. It provides students with opportunities to interact with other admitted students, and to receive answers to their individual questions from current Rutgers students and staff members. When students join the network they will be able to participate in topical forums. So far the schedule includes forums on financial aid, housing assignments, and residence life. Details will be provided via the Go 2 Rutgers network.
