Billing and Payment Pans Unless you take advantage of Rutgers' partial payment options, payment is due twice a year before the start of each semester (due dates appear on bills). The university has not yet established costs for 2007-2008, but costs for 2006-2007 may be a helpful guide.
The university offers a number of convenient partial payment plans to help students and parents meet educational costs as conveniently as possible. Instructions for enrolling in these plans are included with term bills, and more information about them is available at studentabc.rutgers.edu. Payment plan options include an annual plan (monthly payments for 10 months beginning on June 1 and ending on March 1) and a three-payment term plan.

Financial Aid Deadline
Students entering Rutgers this coming fall who want to be considered for need-based financial aid should have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the priority filing date of March 15, 2007. However, you can still submit your FAFSA after the priority date. The FAFSA is the single application for all types of federal, state, and university financial aid programs. Before completing the FAFSA, you will need to establish your federal PIN at pin.ed.gov (students and parents must each apply for a federal PIN). The FAFSA can be submitted online at fafsa.ed.gov.
For information about New Jersey's premier student loan program offered through the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA), NJCLASS, which provides low-interest educational loans to parents and students, visit hesaa.org where you can also apply for an NJCLASS loan online.

Health Services and Immunizations At Rutgers University Health Services, keeping students healthy and in school is the number one goal! Our nationally accredited health centers, board-certified physicians, skilled clinical staff, and health educators will help students stay healthy. Students are treated to restore their health when injured, ill or stressed, and provided with education and prevention to help them maintain their health throughout their years at Rutgers. For details about our many health services, visit http://health.rutgers.edu/.
All students are required to provide by July 30 a pre-entrance immunization record confirming that they have received all required immunizations. Per New Jersey state law, students residing on campus must be inoculated against meningitis before they can obtain their room key. If unable to obtain the meningitis vaccination from their personal health care provider, students can register for an on-campus vaccination. Dates, times, and locations will be available on the Enrollment Pathway, our convenient online guide that helps incoming students complete the various steps to enrollment, in late spring.
The pre-entrance immunization record and related information is available for downloading through the Enrollment Pathway and at the Rutgers health Services web site at http://health.rutgers.edu/.
