ON-CAMPUS HOUSING

Rutgers' online housing application is now available to interested students through the Enrollment Pathway. Access to the Enrollment Pathway is limited to students who have informed the university of their intention to enroll online at Your Rutgers Status.

Students planning to live on campus will find a number of exciting housing options to choose from including first-year residences, living-learning communities, and special-interest housing.

For descriptions of residences, virtual tours, a list of what to bring to campus and what is provided, and other important information about living on campus, visit here.

Satisfaction surveys from an independent assessment have shown that Rutgers' students are more satisfied with their on-campus experience than students at any of the hundreds of universities that use the survey. Residence life highlights include:
  • Housing in every configuration: traditional residence halls, suites, and apartments
  • Housing offered on four Rutgers-New Brunswick campuses in city and suburban/rural settings
  • New residences scheduled to open for fall 2011 on the Busch Campus, and new residences scheduled for 2012 completion that will increase Rutgers' on-campus residents to 16,000
