I am excited to share that I will be working at Apple as a packaging product design intern for this upcoming year! Through the connections and benevolence of our packaging department at Rutgers, I was able to secure this opportunity. After working hard and learning about the wonders of packaging at school, I hope to gain more insight on the intersections of technology, packaging, and design at Apple and just have a fun time. I am extremely thankful to the people who have been with me on this journey since the beginning as well as the packaging department for their work - thank you so much.

In the fall of my junior year, I joined 90.3 The Core, a music radio station headquartered in the Livingston Student Center, and trained to be a DJ. Through The Core, I learned to really appreciate music, particularly that of newer and lesser known artists. I had so much fun curating playlists, talking in mic breaks, and inviting friends to host my show with me. Being a DJ for The Core has been so fun and I would often look forward to my show every week as a creative release from stressful engineering classes. It’s never too late to try something new!
If you studied abroad, please share your experience.
I had the splendid opportunity to travel to France and attend a packaging school for 2 weeks. Not only did I learn more about the packaging industry and interact with French packaging students, I also traveled around France and enjoyed the culture. It was fascinating to see the similarities and differences between the French school’s packaging program and the Rutgers program. This student exchange was probably the best experience I had at Rutgers and I gained great friends and lessons from it.
