    The New Jersey Medical and Health Sciences Education Restructuring Act provides for most units of the University of Medicine and Dentistry (UMDNJ) to be transferred to Rutgers, effective July 1, 2013. As a result of this integration, you will see changes to this website.

    1,000 incoming Rutgers students are university merit scholarship recipients throughout the nation. The top 1,100 students enrolling in Rutgers-New Brunswick are in the top 6% of their high school classes and have SAT scores exceeding 2100. 120 Presidential Scholars with a mean SAT of almost 2300 and an average percentile high school rank of the top 3 percent enrolled at Rutgers in 2011.
