About Environmental Planning

These are just some of the issues you’ll address within the environmental planning and design major. You’ll gain an understanding of planning and design as they relate to the function and management of physical and cultural environments. You’ll focus on the interactions between natural and social systems and you will develop the skills to interpret science, technology, and cultural context to critique, design, and to envision and develop innovative solutions in sustainability, land stewardship, and other contemporary urban challenges.
