Rutgers University has a strong track record of discovery. In 2018, our scientists discovered the building blocks of all proteins—the chemicals that make life possible— better known as the “Legos of Life.” Today, NASA-funded researchers at Rutgers University are testing theories on how life arose on Earth and the likelihood of it happening elsewhere.
