Rutgers–New Brunswick Weekend Tour Program

Join us for an exclusive prospective student event, giving you the opportunity to explore our campuses, academic schools, and programs offered at Rutgers–New Brunswick based on your interests.  

At this exclusive event, you can:

✓ Take a 60-minute guided bus tour

✓ Visit select academic schools and departments to have your questions answered

✓ Experience each of our campuses on your own terms using our self-guided tour app

✓ Feast like a Scarlet Knight at one of our dining halls

Registration for each event, including the express bus tour and specific academic programs, is separate.

Express Bus Tour

Our express bus tour of Rutgers–New Brunswick is a one-hour guided tour that drives through our five campuses across Piscataway and New Brunswick, NJ. 

What to Expect: 

60-minute guided bus tour: Our student Scarlet Ambassadors will lead you through our five campuses on tour buses. This is a continuous bus tour that does not provide guests an opportunity to walk around any of the campuses. 

Talk with Admissions Representatives: Undergraduate Admissions staff members and current students will be available to answer general questions about campus life and the application process.

Express bus tours will be offered at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. Due to high tour demand, you can only register for one express bus tour.

Academic School Offerings

Select schools and academic departments are hosting programs to enhance your tour experience. Each event is hosted by the individual school and academic department and is not affiliated with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Parking and additional event information are managed by the academic unit and will be provided upon registration.

  • Pharmacy Information Session & Building Tour

    Learn about the 6-year PharmD program at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers–New Brunswick.

  • Join our current students for a walking tour of the Douglass campus, where a lot of Douglass Residential College (DRC) programming takes place, and a student-led panel to get your questions answered. Visit with our faculty and staff and learn more about the different offerings and programs available through Douglass like our Global Village, Center for Women in the Arts, internship and externship experiences, and more.

  • Honors College Open House

    Explore the Honors College through guided walking tours and information sessions with Honors College students, faculty, and staff.

  • RBS Information Session

    Learn more about the RBS curriculum, resources, and application process. Current students will share their experiences during the presentation and provide a building tour at the end of the session.

  • SAS Information Session 

    Join undergraduate deans and current students in the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) for an overview of the academic offerings and guided pathways available in SAS. Learn how students explore over 100 majors and minors across the life sciences, humanities, social and behavioral sciences, and mathematical and physical sciences through the innovative Core Curriculum.

  • Computer Science Tours

    Meet the School of Engineering (SoE) faculty, staff, and students while learning about SoE’s ten majors! Guests can also tour Richard Weeks Hall of Engineering, attend an information session led by the deans, and participate in a student panel.
