Tour Rutgers–New Brunswick

Rutgers–New Brunswick Tour Offerings

Undergraduate Admissions is excited to welcome you to campus! Our introductory tours are considered your "first step" in learning about the Rutgers–New Brunswick student experience, including information regarding dining, transportation, and housing. Since our tours are not academic-focused, we encourage students to take academic school tours based on their interests as the "second step" in the tour experience. Learn more about our specific school and academic tours here.

Rutgers–New Brunswick Information Session and Bus Tour

Prospective and admitted students, as well as their guests, are invited on a bus tour to get an introductory overview of Rutgers–New Brunswick's five-campus system across Piscataway, NJ and New Brunswick, NJ. To ensure the timeliness of the tour and maintain positive guest experiences, the bus will drive through all five campuses but only stop on select campuses. Guests will also receive an "at a glance" Rutgers–New Brunswick information session and learn about the application and admission process.

This tour lasts about two hours and is presented by student Scarlet Ambassadors and an Undergraduate Admissions representative.

Due to high tour demand, you can only register for one information session and bus tour. If you register for multiple tour dates and times, the system will automatically cancel all registrations.

Rutgers–New Brunswick Express Bus Tour

Join us for an express bus tour of Rutgers University–New Brunswick that drives through our five campuses across Piscataway and New Brunswick, NJ. Our express bus tours are designed for students to explore campus further with self-guided tours and other "on your own" visit opportunities around campus on the day of your tour. Guests can eat in a dining hall, attend a school-specific tour or program, visit exhibits at Zimmerli Art Museum, and more!

This one-hour guided, continuous bus tour does not provide guests an opportunity to walk around any of the campuses. While admissions representatives will be on site to answer questions, a formal information session is not included. Due to high tour demand, you can only register for one express bus tour. If you register for multiple tour dates and times, the system will automatically cancel all registrations.
